    Mir ist alles sehr leicht gefallen und habe meine Ziele verfolgt. Siegreich ist nur derjenige, der niemals aufgibt. Bekannte erfolgreiche Persönlichkeiten erlitten mehrere Niederlagen bevor sie erfolgreich wurden.

    Die Eltern des berühmten Opernsängers Enrico Caruso wollten, dass er Ingenieur werden solle. Sein Lehrer sagte, dass er überhaupt keine Stimme habe und nicht singen könne.

    Thomas Edisons Lehrer sagten, er wäre zu dumm, um irgend etwas zu lernen.

    Albert Einstein sprach erst als er vier war und konnte erst mit sieben lesen. Seine Lehrer beschrieben ihn als „geistig langsam, ungesellig und immer in seine törichten Träume abschweifend.“ Er wurde von der Schule verwiesen, und der Zugang zur Technischen Hochschule Zürich wurde ihm verweigert.
