I'm a 41-year-old female, and I live in Apeldoorn, Netherlands .

I speak English, Dutch, some German, and a tiny bit of Spanish, French.

• My interests in other cultures

  I think the world is full of marvellous places, colors and customs. Insight and understanding our differences has the power to bring peace.

• A personal challenge

  In 2019 I would like to learn Nepali and Chinese. Nepali because of dear friends and Chinese because it will be an interesting challenge.

• I'm excited about...

  I am very fond of garden design and would like to learn the differences in it in other cultures.
  In the Netherlands there are 2 mainstreams in garden design: f#ck the context (non related design) and genius loci (historically connected).

• Something uncommon about me

  My best friend once told me I wasn't dutch, because of my open views towards other cultures. I was suprised, but I truely liked her explanation.

• Favourite books/authors/films

  My favorite author is the late Sir Terry Pratchett. I just love his views on this and other worlds.
