  • Something to tell the world!

    Ciao a tutti! Hi! I’m Chiara and I’m Italian. I’d like to improve my English and French and I’d like
    to learn German. I'm studying Chinese and Russian at University, so it won't be bad if I use these languages with someone ahahah.

    I love Two Steps From Hell, Nirvana, Beatles, Fabrizio de Andrè and I like
    listening to soundtracks from movies. I also love watching movies and tv
    series. My favourite movies are Mulholland drive and Requiem for a dream. My favourite tv series
    are Game of Thrones,Dexter, How I met your mother, Breaking Bad, Lost, Scrubs… I’m obsessed with tv series. I play guitar, piano and violin 🙂
    I also attend theatre courses because I L-O-V-E theatre.

  • Favourite books/authors/films

    I love watching movies, cinema is my favorite hobby. My favourite movies are "Requiem for a dream" and "Mulholland drive". I also like Hitchcook's movies.

    My favourite book is "Novecento" by Baricco (maybe you have seen the movie based on this book, "La leggenda del pianista sull'oceano" by Giuseppe Tornatore, with Tim Roth).

    My favourite authors are Shakespeare, who doesn't need explications, and Luigi Pirandello, a sicilian genius. He wrote a lot of masterpieces for theatre

  • Cities and countries I have visited

    I didn't travel a lot, I visited some Italian regions like Puglia, Tuscany (Florence), Campania and Sicily (I'm sicilian) and I went to Switzerland. I visited Bellinzona, Monte Carasso, Locarno, Lugano and Ascona. I really loved Switzerland and its lakes; "unfortunately" I talked Italian, so I didn't have the chance to improve foreign langauges I speak. I also visited Prague and I really loved it.

    I like discovering new things about other cultures, differences or affinities with mine. Their traditions, their favourite kind of music and movies.   • I always enjoy talking about...

    I love talking about everything. But, if I have to choose, I'll say that I love talking about movies. Cinema is my biggest passion: I could spend hours talking about a movie or about a director. But I also like talking about music...I think I have a "strange" taste in music since I love epic music. You know...that kind of music you hear in soundtracks.
    Seriously, you can talk with me about everything.

  • A career without obstacles

    I dream about becoming an actress or a director.
    I've always loved cinema and theatre, I attend a theatre course and I like acting monologues when I'm alone. I also like writing scripts.
    Seriously, I've loved this career since I was in my mommy's belly 🙂

  • Living abroad for one year

    I'd like to spend a year in London, or in New York, or Paris, or Warsaw, or Berlin, or Tokyo, or Madrid, or Moscow, or Beijing, or Buenos Aires. I really would like to visit the world and live is every possible city!
    That's why I chose to study languages at University 🙂

  • My opinion on human nature

    I think human mind is the strongest "thing" in the Universe. We have a great power and we have to use it properly. I'm sure human beings have a good heart, but they sometimes committ bad things. We just have to think more and don't act without thinking.
    As Charlie Chaplin said in his masterpiece "The great Dictator":
    <<We all want to help one another. Human beings are like that. We want to live by each other’s happiness - not by each other’s misery. We don’t want to hate and despise one another. In this world there is room for everyone. And the good earth is rich and can provide for everyone. >>

    Also, we are all brothers. Max Ehrmann wrote "You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here."
    We are children of the same mother.
